Everything else in Sektar is one tap from the home screen or the side menu (the three lines at the top).

Staying active in town

Sektar is only for people in the town. Open the app inside the town at least once every 15 days and your account stays fully active. Going away for longer? Switch on Travel mode from the side menu before you leave. Your location is checked, never stored.

Getting help at home

Tap Find help, choose the work, offer the price you would pay if you like, and drag the pin to your door. Providers nearby get your request straight away. They can take your price or send their own. Until you book one, they see only how far away the job is. After you book, you can follow them on the map when they set off. You pay the provider directly.

Ordering from shops

Choose a shop and fill your cart. For delivery, put a pin on your door: shops on the town rider fare work the fare out from the shop to that pin. When the shop accepts, the nearest town riders are asked. The rider reads a 4-digit code to the shop to collect your order, and you pay the rider in cash at your door. Nothing is paid in the app.

Earning

Offer your services, sell or rent out things, deliver orders, run a shop or teach from home — all in the Earn part of the side menu. A shop's rider code lets you deliver for that shop once it approves you.

Staying safe

• Use Report on any post, profile, listing, request or shop that breaks the community guidelines, and Block anyone you do not want to hear from.
• Never share your CNIC, a bank PIN or a one-time code in a message.
• In an emergency, open Helplines from the home screen.
